Come with me as I pick up a few items at the OOAK show in Toronto. I went there to pick-up a teapot from one of my favourite ceramists Etty Anderson from Montréal. I purchased a unique candlestick holder from DConstruct, a leather keychain from Small Hours, and a Koze Kandle candle.
Honestly, this event has such a bad vibe. Too many suburban sellers bringing their suburban mindsets to the downtown core. The dirty looks, the sellers who greeting you with cold silence but a warmth to white patrons… f*ck outta here with that sheltered behaviour. After paying to enter a lacklustre event, I was left with the urge to shop online.
This event will never get my money. There are other markets that are more welcoming with better products.
