Sorry for the language Luvlies but..Phuck. That. Guy. As someone who lives right at the harbourfront of Lake Ontario, we will NEVER call it ‘LAke AmeRicA‘. No one will.
Americans that live at the border of Canada already felt the brunt of us Canadians abstaining from cross-border vacationing, and they’re governors kept begging us to return. We won’t. Maine, upstate New York, Vermont are hurting because their money making season is dependent on us.
We’re bankrupting your alcohol industries and tourism. But this lame attempt at renaming of a 400 year old lake and trying to make it law, will be the nail in your coffin.
Mapquest said they’re not making the name change, but shady Google has been quiet.
The fact is America can’t have nice things, like clean water or air. Winter is coming fast. And since Canada provides 1/3 of the US with heat and electricity… bundle up.
