Morning Musing on a Clear Mind
Luvlies, Good morning. I finally woke up to quiet. Not a thought running through my mind. Yesterday was such a fulfilling day, that I’m hoping to replicate it again. Dancing, painting, reading, writing, repeat… creates a clarity where creatively I feel aligned and the chatter is silenced.
I did have one goofy thought tho… why are we calling AI ‘Artificial Intelligence’ when we know it’s ‘Actual Idiocy’? Since putting a moratorium on my personal use of AI (which was minimal to begin with), words are coming back to me. I’m not second guessing my mother tongue sentence structure or forgetting how to spell as much.
These morning musings (sometimes nonsensical tomfooleries) are aiding in my ‘Actual Idiocy’ recuperation as well. It’s different than writing morning pages – a habit I formed after doing the Artist’s Way 30 years ago. I think differently when I type vs. pen to paper, which may or may not be a good thing. What I am holding space for the renewed discipline that writing and posting – without the use of AI- is creating for me. I’m not overthinking as much about what I’m putting out there… which is actual very AI-esque behaviour.
Maybe that’s where we’re getting it wrong. We should embracing AI’s brazen nature to share its thought without a care in the world.
Either way, I’m checking out for the weekend and going analog – actual touching grass and enjoying the sun.
