April Vibes ’25
April unfurled like petals in real time. I didn’t even realize how much I missed movement until I saw it in my moodboard.
Arms mid-stretch, heads tossed back in laughter, afros waving wild and free. I searched for that feeling of shedding. Shaking off the rocky start of 2025 and frolicking through a plush field.
The theme? Renewal. Soft joy. Natural light. Growth in every direction.
This board leaned into images of blossoming, literal and emotional. Black femmes smiling with sunlight on their shoulders, dancing in floral prints, jumping rope like joy was a religion. It was about possibility.
I felt warmth in color again: yellows, greens, sky blues. And the movement? Whew. It said, “Keep going, even if your knees are shaky.”
April was a continuation as we bloomed, babe. We bloomed.
