March Vibes ’25
The revolution will absolutely be styled. March came in like a battle cry, wrapped in leather jackets, protest signs, and unshakable femme power.
This moodboard had teeth. It leaned heavy into vintage New York – graffiti walls, megaphones, velvet fists raised high. Think Assata, Angela, Bell Hooks. Think Black Lives Matter posters layered over 1970s rebellion.
It was deeply political but still deeply me. I see style as defiance. Big round afros, t-shirts that say “The Future is Female” with their whole chest, standing in your truth as your life depended on it.
The vibe? Badass and necessary = Badessary (idunno it’s a work in progress). A revolt against the systems trying to dull our brilliance. Because when the world says “quiet down,” we paint it red and dance louder.
March reminded me: I’m not soft because I survived the fire and brought flowers.
