My Summer of Reading Is Almost at an End…
Hellur Luvlies! August starts off with Jump-up (aka Caribana; aka The Toronto Caribbean Carnival – but us locals will never call it that. NEVAH!). 14 books are planned for the month, plus 6-7 ballet classes, and 1 long catch-up, while I get on bad.
The art creation journey continues, and I am loving my painting era. I’ve digitized most of the works, so watch this space. Prints coming soon…
OOOHHHH!! I’ve got some hot goss. My favourite book club on the planet – you know the one that got me through the pandemilovato, its founder Shayla Cole is opening a brick & mortar book space called The Novel Sip in Columbus, Ohio. I am so so proud of Shayla. She has arrived! Updates on the The Novel Sip can be found here.
Yesterday, I reviewed the books I read in July. There were titles that brought me to my knees, where I wept for imaginary friends and a life lived – and others that left me screaming ‘I am CONFUSION!. You know I love to share my thoughts with the group, so enjoy my unbridled perspective.
August 2026 will be a sedated one. Or maybe not… because the floodgates might open up and I’ll be swamped. Fingers crossed 🙂
