Morning Musing on Gardens and on Love
Good morning Luvlies! Let’s have a chat about gardens and love and the love of gardens. I watched too much youtube this weekend, and the channels I subscribed to uploaded their content surrounding the Chelsea Flower Show (a yearly celebration of curated nature that takes place in West London). I am determined to attend one year. It looks like the most romantic event ever. We heard from Gardeners from all over the world, speak poetically about the work that they do, and I felt inspired to write this short note about it.
Hold on. Gotta copy and paste it here…
Garden Allegory on Love by Laney Luv
From a distance, a garden is a realm of wonder, brimming with magic and promise that challenges the mind on its existence. When you’re standing in it, the veil of enchantment is parted to reveal dirt, roots, thorns of chaos and all the work that is needed to maintain this dimension. Ignoring what the garden needs instantly depletes it; too much attention will smother it. It needs space to thrive and grow.
In some parts of the garden, the right combination of plants work together to contribute to the world they helped create. Deep underground, they silently communicate with one another, with daily check-ins on who needs what when. There are species who take more than what they need, but they don’t last long when managed early. Up close, when you’re staring at the individual flowers & foliage, you marvel at the sheer miracle of creation that’s in front of you.
The deeper you dig and the closer you look, you cannot imagine what life was like before the garden and have no desire to leave its side. It’s part of you and you are part of it. And when the time comes, you stay within its walls for its eternal embrace.
There is nothing more beautiful than walking through a garden in love.

…and that’s time. Do you dream of gardens? Share your thoughts below.
See you tomorrow Luvlies!
xoxo Luv Laney Luv
